Wiesbaden 18.11.2017
I already tried to visit Wiesbaden 1.5 years ago, when I had a trip to Mainz. Though something went wrong and I had to finish the trip in Mainz. This time I succeed and I'm happy about it.
On the hill with such a beautiful view, there was a Russian Orthodox Church. I didn't expect that.
Nearby there is a picturesque park of just wild forest. Looks very cool. I'd add just a bit of sun and it would turn into a perfect picture :)
By accident I saw a funny tradition "Topping out". When all the hard building work is finally completed, they install a bell under the roof. I've never seen that before. Thx to Chris for a hint on tradition name.
Also a visitor can find here the biggest (if the sign is trustful) clocks in the worlds. Here it is:
And of course Wiesbaden is famous for its casino. People with some free money from the neighborhood (even from Frankfurt) visit it to have some fun. Though in general it's just a usual German town. I had an impression that it's much more interesting to visit Mainz.
