Canyons Zion & Bryce 30.09.2013

After Niagara falls we went to Las Vegas. It was 5 hours flight. Around 2200 miles. Though Las Vegas was just an intermediate stop on the way to national parks and canyons. The city has amazing location for that purpose. Also the hotels are so cheap in LV. Well, it's not just cheap. It is extremely cheap. The only rule is to book something for a business day. Even super cool hotel is able to provide a room for about 40$ per day.

The first park on the way was Zion Canyon National Park. I would like to note the high organization level in parks: there is a booth on the entrance, where a special guy takes money for visit (well, we were lucky enough, there was a free entrance in the day of our visit). He also gives the detailed map and can answer to all your answers. It’s clean inside. For an additional fee you can make a camp and spend the night over here. The fee is also looks affordable (5 to 25$ per person, depends on the park). Or you can buy a year pass for 80$.

There are a lot of viewpoints in parks. And a lot of visitors. Some of them are not able to hold their nature and go to climb on trees or rocks (it's not me on the photo :) )

I also met some locals here. Though this mate was not really talktaive and just flew away after a while.

Zion and Bryce canyons are quite close to each other. Still there is a huge difference in the nature there.

The weather is also interesting: it’s about +30 during the day, just like in a stove. Then it’s extremely cold during the night ( around +5). The mobile network coverage is quite poor. The most part of the road there was no signal at all. Well, it’s mountains in the end.
