Bosnia and Herzegovina consists from two parts: Bosnia and (guess what? :) ) Herzegovina. The second part is just 20% of the country, but still has lots of important places. Central city is Mostar.

There are lots of mosques in the city. There is ancient Quran in one of them from XVI century or something.

For a small fee it is allowed to go up to the minaret to enjoy the city view from the top.

There are many footprints from Bosnian war in the city. Much more than in Sarajevo.

Tourists come here to see the Old bridge. Well, it is a new one, cause the original one was completely destroyed during the war, but still is called the Old bridge.

Local guys found a way to earn some money via crowd-funding: they advertise the amount of money they need and try to collect it from tourists. Once the goal is reached one of the guys jump from the bridge to the river. It's really high there. I woudn't recommend to repeat it.

The river divides the city to two parts. But it also divides citizens. As I was told by a local guy, normally they don't cross the river: on the other side there's a good chance to be beaten. Even nowadays. Though nobody touches tourists. So there's nothing to be afraid of. Unless you live in this town.

Streets are very narrow and steep in the city. It's hard to go by car there. Especially if you decide to go in the wrong direction like this guy on the photo.

Blagaj. Dervish house. Though it doesn't look like a house for a humble ascetic.

On the other side of the river there's a trail under the cliff. There's amazing view. But watch out: stoned constantly fall from the top and can easily got to someones head. However there is no even warning sign.

So the further way goes to Montenegro. The road is very beautiful.
