A couple of years ago I already wrote about Heidelberg. From the very first moment I’ve been there, I wanted to visit this city to see the fireworks. They make it 3 times per year (you can check the actual schedule at official website). So here I am. My dream came true (:

I'm not a pro photographer. So I didn't manage to shot those nice pictures for a post cards. I bet real pro visit this event several times to find a real nice place for a shot. I just saw it. It was enough to satisfy my curiosity.
I would like to pay some attention to the way Germans make such a simple thing as fireworks in a great event. They put here a shop to sell sausages and beer. They put here even portable toilet. Even the orchestra was in place. Everything was amazing. The only problem was the parking place. I tried to find a place about an hour. Even paid parking buildings were fully booked. In the end I found a place in about 15 minutes walking distance somewhere in the living area. I arrived 1.5 hours in advance. Probably there would be no place, if I had arrived an hour later :)

It was an amazing performance. Though I doubt I would visit Heidelberg only becuase of fireworks. I just accidentally was in the right place at the right time.
