To get there one has take not an easy serpentine road. I was surprised how many cyclists were there. Not just down road, but also up. Must be really hard.

Last couple dozens kilometres are already in national park territory. The landscape varies here a lot which is very surprising for such a small territory.

At 2356 meters high there is a cable car which can get you to the point at 3555 meters high.

It's quite crowdy here. It's already a bit cool here, just around +16C. Though a lot of people are just in T-shirts and shorts. I've no idea what these people were thinking about, but it would be much colder upside.

It was around -1C on the top and a bit snowy. It was clear, that there was not enough air, especially when you climb somewhere.
Crater is around 200m higher, but it is accessible only for those who got special permission on government site. There are special quotas and when I was about to fill the request form I found out that there is no quota for me during my visit days anymore. Maybe next time.

Anyway it's not just a simple walk on the way to the crater. More like something in Masca. So it's better be prepared for that.

Part of the way is above the clouds. It's amazing. Though it's not so amazing to go on the road in the middle of the cloud, especially if it is serpentine road.

On the road from Teide it's really nice to visit Vilaflor village. The way here is also a serpentine as most of the roads in Tenerife. By the way, I saw here a lot of cars with protection on side. May be it's safer this way here.

Village as village, but here starts several very interesting hiking route. Especially to the Paisaje Lunar. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time for it. Must be very interesting.

Though we had some time for swimming. It was much warmer down there. +25C. So even the water was a bit cold, it was really cool to swim a bit.

The island is not really big. It is possible to get in any point of the island less than in 1.5 hours by car. But we had something to do all the way here. And still the list is not completed. So there is still something in case I will have a chance to visit it one more time.
